Job summary

Atomic Storage Group is seeking a reliable, self-directed independent contractor to help maintain and care for one of our storage facilities. This 1099 engagement offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to manage your own workload while ensuring property needs are addressed professionally.

The ideal candidate will perform light repairs, operate basic tools, assist with auctions when required, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Must own a truck capable of hauling equipment, supplies, and debris.
• Must provide and safely operate personal hand tools and power tools.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision.
• Reliable, responsive, and professional in communication.
• Must pass a background check prior to engagement.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance and minor repairs around the property.
• Use tools such as drills or grinders to remove locks when necessary.
• Assist with delinquency lock processes as needed.
• Manage weed control and general property cleaning.
• Help maintain overall curb appeal and property appearance.
• Clean out abandoned or vacated units and transport debris/items for disposal when necessary.
• Conduct routine property evaluations to identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion of property-related services.
• Monitor appearance and condition of the property and report issues promptly.
• Assist with auction preparation tasks when needed.
• Work independently and manage your own schedule while ensuring tasks are completed.
