Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service and assist customers using self-checkout. You will greet shoppers, help with transactions, monitor kiosks, and keep the front end clean and organized.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy at checkout, handling payments, and reporting any issues to the Customer Service Manager. Training is provided to develop product knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service to customers at the front end.
• Greet customers, engage them by name when possible, and assist with self-checkout.
• Monitor self-checkouts, assist with payments, and maintain a neat area.
• Follow procedures for checkout, handle voids, and report issues to management.
• Adhere to Food Lion policies and maintain safety during duties.
