Job summary

Food Lion in Lewisville, NC seeks a Part-time Self Checkout Ambassador to provide fast, friendly service at the front end and assist customers with self-checkouts. You will greet customers, help with scanning, and ensure the checkout area stays neat and orderly.

Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Assist customers on how to use Self-checkouts properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience.
• Respond timely to customer inquiries and self-checkout system notifications.
• Monitor multiple self-checkouts for proper customer usage including the scanning of all items and the accurate scanning of each item
