Food Lion in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service at the self-checkout area. You will greet customers, guide them through self-checkout, and help ensure accuracy and speed at the register while maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction in a high-volume retail environment.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Greet each customer and uses their name whenever possible
• Assist customers on how to use Self-checkouts properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience
• Respond timely to customer inquiries and self-checkout system notifications
• Monitor multiple self-checkouts for proper customer usage including the scanning of all items
• Remind customers of items located on the bottom of the cart or items under baby seats prior to them completing the transaction
