Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Self-Checkout Host to greet customers and help them scan, weigh, and pay for their items. You will oversee self-checkout units and ensure a smooth, friendly experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, answering questions, maintaining accuracy at the registers, promoting self-checkout lanes, and keeping the area clean and stocked with promotions knowledge to help customers find items quickly.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of cashier experience preferred in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee self-checkout units, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service.
• Assist customers as they scan, weigh, bag and pay for their own items, ensuring a smooth and seamless process.
• Serve multiple customers at once and anticipate issues before they occur.
• Answer questions and assist with issues (large items, scanning/weighing, payment, etc.).
• Monitor scanning activity to ensure scanning accuracy.
• Invite Sprouts customers to use self-checkout lanes, especially if lines form.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and events; direct product location.
• Ensure self-checkout areas are kept clean and orderly; perform related duties.
• Thank customers as they leave the self-checkout area.
