Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Self-Checkout Host to deliver exceptional customer service while customers scan and pay for their items at self-checkout lanes. You will oversee units, assist with scanning, weighing and bagging, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

Responsibilities include promoting self-checkout use, answering questions, maintaining accuracy in scanning, and staying informed about weekly promotions. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Retail or cashier experience (1-2 years preferred).
• Positive attitude and ability to positively interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 35 lbs. for distances.
• Strong attention to detail and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee self-checkout units and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Assist customers with scanning, weighing, bagging, and payment.
• Manage multiple customers and anticipate issues.
• Answer questions and resolve scanning/weighting/payment issues.
• Monitor scanning activity for accuracy.
• Encourage use of self-checkout lanes when lines form.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store locations.
• Keep self-checkout areas clean and perform related duties.
