Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Self-Checkout Host to greet customers, assist with scanning, weighing, bagging and paying for items, and keep the self-checkout area running smoothly in a fast-paced store.

You will monitor units, answer questions, support a friendly checkout experience, and help maintain clean, organized lanes while promoting promotions and daily benefits such as daily Pay options and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Retail or cashier experience preferred (1–2 years).
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, and scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee self-checkout units and ensure prompt, friendly service.
• Assist customers as they scan, weigh, bag and pay.
• Manage multiple customers and anticipate issues.
• Address questions and resolve scanning or payment issues.
• Monitor scanning accuracy.
• Encourage customers to use self-checkout lanes when lines form.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and events.
• Keep self-checkout areas clean and well-organized.
• Thank customers as they leave.
