Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools seeks a Program Management Support Paraprofessional for the SEL Resource Room at Olson Middle School. The role supports student behavior, restorative practices, attendance tracking, and data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities include working with licensed staff to aid students with academics, behavior, and daily living skills; monitoring progress; and communicating updates to case managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 60+ college credits or Para Pro Exam.
• PCA certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with licensed and other staff to assist students with academic, behavioral/social/emotional, instruction, and daily living skills.
• Assist in implementation of assigned tasks including instruction and assisting students academically.
• Monitor student's skills of independence and implementation of classroom or individual behavior management programs.
• Communicate student's progress with case managers.

Education

High School Diploma

60 credits post-secondary education or passing Para Pro Exam

PCA Certification (or ability to obtain)
