Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County is seeking a Social-Emotional Learning & Disabilities Specialist to lead SEL initiatives and disabilities supports across Thrive to Five. The role combines program leadership, staff coaching, and implementation of PBIS and inclusive practices in classrooms throughout Lancaster County.

The position reports to the Manager of Early Learning and Support Services and requires a home office in Lancaster with travel to classrooms county-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Special Education, or related field.
• Two years of work experience related to the care and development of young children.
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to staff in Thrive to Five programming around PBIS Universal/Foundational practices.
• Develop and support implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Support Plans at targeted and tertiary levels.
• Conduct observations, interview staff and collect data to recommend classroom strategies for social-emotional learning.
