Job summary

New Story Schools in Lancaster County, PA is seeking a Behavior Consultant to support students aged 5-21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop individualized behavior plans and monitor progress, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to implement effective strategies.

The role emphasizes functional assessments, PBSPs, staff training, and alignment with IEP goals. Strong ABA knowledge and excellent communication skills are essential for promoting positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• Minimum 2 years ABA service delivery, including FBAs, PBSPs, and staff training.
• 2+ years experience with ASD and/or emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ABA and positive behavior supports.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop PBSPs.
• Provide behavioral consultation and progress monitoring for students.
• Train and support teachers on behavior strategies and data collection systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align goals with IEP objectives.
• Analyze data and adjust interventions for ongoing student success.
