Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks a Manager Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Lead to manage a 10–15 person SEIT team within the Targeting Department.

The role balances functional oversight with hands-on program work, ~20% and ~80% respectively, across multiple initiatives. You will guide system architecture, requirements, verification, and fielding efforts while ensuring compliance with company standards; a Secret clearance is required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering/technical discipline with 8+ years experience, or Master of Science with 6+ years experience.
• US citizen; ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities; effective communication of complex technical topics.
• Proficiency with cost/schedule management and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience with MBSE, Agile methods, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for a SEIT/Integrated Product Team (IPT) across multiple initiatives.
• Oversee cost, schedule, technical quality, and adherence to SEIT processes on programs.
• Staffing, mentoring, performance reviews, and talent development for SEIT engineers.
• Recruit and onboard new engineers and support MBSE/PLA initiatives.
• Apply SE engineering best practices across architecture, requirements, verification, and fielding.
