Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a SEIT Lead/IPT Lead to manage a 10-15 person SEIT team in Rolling Meadows, IL, with ~20% functional duties and ~80% technical program work. The role emphasizes systems engineering leadership, architecture, requirements, and verification across multiple initiatives.

You will ensure adherence to engineering processes, support on-site work, and drive performance within a restricted program space, including collaboration with MBSE and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering/technical field with required experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Secret clearance.
• 8+ years (BS) or 6+ years (MS) of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with cost/schedule management and Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional oversight for a team of SEIT engineers across multiple initiatives.
• Lead SEIT processes and monitor cost, schedule, and technical quality on programs.
• Forecast staffing, mentor employees and drive career development.
• Recruit new talent to meet staffing commitments.
• Support MBSE, PLA, and Agile initiatives to gain competitive advantage.
• Lead architecture, requirements, design, verification activities for programs.
