Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a SEIT Lead / IPT Lead in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will manage a team of SEIT engineers, applying MBSE, EVM, and agile practices to deliver complex defense systems.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master in an engineering field, strong leadership, and US citizenship with Secret clearance eligibility. On-site work with a focus on cost, schedule, and technical quality across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in an engineering/technical discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team.
• Background in cost/schedule management, especially Earned Value Management.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for SEIT engineers across multiple initiatives.
• Lead system architecture, requirements, hardware/software design, verification and validation.
• Ensure adherence to engineering processes and program objectives.
• Staffing, mentoring, and performance management of the SEIT team.
• Support MBSE, PLA, and Agile initiatives to deliver competitive systems.
