Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Structural/Civil/Seismic Engineering with emphasis on structural analysis and dynamics.
  • Experience with probabilistic concepts and reliability in engineering preferred.
  • Ability to obtain PE/SE registration within five years.

Responsibilities

  • Develop finite element models of structures and perform linear/nonlinear analysis.
  • Perform seismic soil-structure interaction analyses of buildings.
  • Prepare calculations and reports documenting analyses.
  • Support design for new structures and retrofits.
  • Review work of project team members and assist in proposals and communications.
