The candidate will perform FEM analyses, advise on design, and contribute to proposals, reports, and client communications, with opportunities for significant advancement within SGH.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering or engineering mechanics.
• Education emphasizes structural analysis, structural dynamics, and engineering mechanics.
• Strong background in structural analysis, structural dynamics, and engineering mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform engineering analyses of structures for extreme events (earthquakes, wind, explosions, impact).
• Develop finite element models and perform linear and nonlinear analyses.
• Perform seismic soil-structure interaction analyses and prepare calculations and reports.
• Review work of team members and assist in proposals, budgeting, and client communication.
