Position Overview

The Segment Marketing Director crafts and executes marketing strategies for specific market segments, developing strategies, prioritizing accounts, identifying personas, nurturing leads, and driving conversions. Leading a cross-functional team, you aim to meet goals related to awareness, demand, and pipeline acceleration.

Success involves developing ABM strategies, collaborating with product and content marketing teams to build targeted content journeys, and working with sales, product marketing, performance marketing, and analytics teams to fulfill program objectives and measure impact.

This role reports to the VP of Segment Marketing, working across business units to develop content tailored to the target audience, preferably with healthcare industry experience and a background in technology-enabled B2B enterprise solutions. Key skills include leading initiatives in a matrixed organization, uncovering insights, and managing complex projects.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

Offices are in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We support a hybrid and remote-friendly culture, with work location based on position needs and company policies.

Responsibilities

  1. Partner with sales to develop ABM strategies
  2. Collaborate with product marketing on positioning, personas, and messaging
  3. Align with performance marketing on campaigns to drive awareness and demand
  4. Create segment-specific content for demand programs and sales
  5. Develop thought leadership content with subject matter experts
  6. Craft key messages and guide content creation teams
  7. Scope and communicate research insights to inform market understanding

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in B2B marketing, with ABM experience
  • Preferred: healthcare industry, payers, product marketing, B2B tech or professional services marketing
  • Strong collaboration and relationship skills
  • Ability to translate insights into tactics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Self-starter, quick learner, agile
  • Willing to travel up to 20%

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred
