Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Seed Enablement Lead to drive seed portfolio performance across the Southern Region. The role combines technical agronomy with market insights to support growth, adoption, and data-driven recommendations for growers and retailers.

Work closely with sales, agronomy, product, and commercial teams; design field trials, validate product performance, and communicate findings. Remote within Texas with extensive travel and aligned responsibilities based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Business, Agriculture, or related field.
• Experience in agronomy, seed, crop inputs, retail agriculture, product management, or seed portfolio management is desirable.
• Strong understanding of agronomic principles and seed product positioning.
• Ability to analyze field and market data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across commercial and technical teams.
• Travel willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southern Region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute localized seed strategies to support product performance and adoption.
• Design, coordinate, and analyze field trials, demonstrations, field days, and on-farm evaluations.
• Partner with sales, agronomy, and commercial teams to provide technical support and seed recommendations.
• Use field results, customer feedback, and market intelligence to improve product placement and identify growth opportunities.
• Communicate technical findings and product performance to stakeholders.
• Support commercial team effectiveness through agronomic training and expertise.
• Contribute to seed portfolio evaluation, market development, and long-term growth strategies.
