Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Southeast South Dakota, including Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, Hutchinson and Douglas counties. The role offers an established territory, strong earning potential and agronomic support to grow seed sales across corn and soybean products.

The position requires 3+ years in agriculture, strong communication and sales skills, and the ability to build lasting grower relationships.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs and policies within the territory to meet sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support within the territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers or potential customers, directly or through a designated seller.
