Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Tripp, Lyman, Buffalo, and Brule counties in South Dakota. This role offers the chance to grow professionally and financially with a well-established seed company that values agronomic knowledge and strong customer relationships.

As the primary ambassador for the Stine brand in your territory, you will manage existing accounts, recruit new ones, and collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to deliver effective sales

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Experience in dealer development and retention.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals for the district.
• Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.
