Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician at our Rushville, Indiana production facility. The role supports seed production activities across shifting schedules with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will perform harvest and bulk operations, operate automation systems, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and a technical/associate degree is preferred, with willingness to obtain GED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or willing to obtain within 12 months.
• Two-year technical or associates degree preferred.
• Experience or education in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate seed production processes including receiving, husk/sort, drying, shelling, and bulk handling.
• Perform color sorting, sizing, gravity table, treating, packaging, and palletizing.
• Use PLCs, computers, and tablets to perform tasks.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with the quality plan.
• Warehousing tasks including forklift operation, quality sampling, and pooling.
