Job summary

Manpower, Inc. seeks a General Operator for our agricultural client in New Madrid, MO. You will support seasonal crop management and seed processing, weighing trucks, and maintaining active production lines.

The role requires safe, efficient work and adaptability to seasonal tasks, with the ability to work independently or within a team. Night shift is 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM with a $2.00/hour premium. Pay is $18.00/hour, Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production agriculture and plant operations.
• Ability to perform duties safely and efficiently while maintaining seed quality.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing seasonal tasks and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading.
• Complete a wide range of harvest activities, including combine cleaning.
• Supply the Conditioning department with a consistent supply of seed.
• Apply appropriate treatments to seed to ensure quality standards.
• Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed, and enter inventory information into the computer system.
