Job summary

Rangen, LLC in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator to support production of livestock and aqua feed products. You will assist with setup, operate equipment, document activities, and maintain cleanliness while following safety and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, English documentation, and willingness to work Sundays through Thursdays 8 pm–6 am with possible overtime. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience in production or related fields.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Operate forklift and material handling equipment per SOPs.
• Follow written and verbal directions in English and document activities.
• Willing to work night hours and overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of production lines and blending per instructions.
• Operate processing equipment per SOPs and assist with quality control.
• Document all activities including processing, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Learn and perform multiple roles (mixing, bagging, forklift, loading).
• Report safety or food safety concerns immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.
