Job summary

General Mills, Milwaukee Plant is seeking a Processing Operator to join our 2nd shift and 12-hour night crew. Starting wage is $28.78 per hour, with pay for skill program up to $33.95 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, holidays, 401(k), and health coverage.

You will operate processing equipment, perform HACCP checks, calibrate systems, and maintain sanitation to GMP standards while working in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment that runs 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to climb and work at heights with stairs/ladders.
• Willing to wear PPE as required (safety gear).
• Ability to work in hot, cold, or noisy environments.
• Ability to operate around high-speed machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment to produce the required quantities for packaging.
• Perform HACCP checks and document deviations.
• Calibrate processing systems daily to meet product specifications.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with GMP standards.
• Assist with CIP and cleaning tasks and support packaging line readiness.
• Work 2nd shift or 12-hour night shift as scheduled and adhere to overtime requirements.
