Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based solutions within a government hosting facility on-site at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

An active Secret clearance is required with potential to obtain Top Secret after starting work; US citizenship is required. The role demands experience in RMF/STIG/ACAS, and responsibilities include deploying hardware and VMs, maintaining backups, managing access, and supporting customers while adhering to DoD

Qualifications

• Active Security+ certification required.
• Experience with RMF compliance including STIG and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting challenges.
• Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, VMs, and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and config changes on hosts.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Ensure DoD guidance compliance and continuous monitoring.
