Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer in Fresno, California. The candidate will lead projects, evaluate remediation technologies, and work with Federal and Public sector clients.

You will mentor staff, communicate complex technical concepts, and ensure designs comply with CERCLA, GLLA and regulatory requirements. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and design sediment remediation systems.
• Lead a team of engineers/scientists on sediment remediation projects for federal/public clients.
• Understand regulatory steps (CERCLA, GLBA and related) and communicate with clients.
• Provide technical leadership and review to ensure sound, compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and external consultants on project strategy and execution.
