CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Scientist or Geologist to lead complex projects for federal and public sector clients. You will evaluate remediation technologies and designs for riverine, coastal, and other settings, and supervise engineers and scientists on project deliverables.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders. Travel up to 10% may be required as duties vary by workload.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree; 7+ years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Experience leading engineers/scientists on sediment remediation projects for Federal/Public clients.
• Equivalents in related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expertise evaluating sediment remediation technologies and designs for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, and port settings.
• Understand sediment transport, site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, and remedial action design/construction.
• Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
• Serve as task manager; communicate technical strategy to client and interact with subject matter experts.
• Lead staff in preparing/reviewing technical documents that are regulatorily compliant.
