Job summary

Harvard Protection Services seeks a Security Supervisor to lead security personnel, ensure life safety services, and uphold contract requirements at client facilities in the United States. You will schedule staff, review logs and incidents, and coordinate emergency responses.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, valid security licenses, and prior supervisory or contract security experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• State or municipal security officer licenses required.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Verifiable supervisory experience or related certifications preferred.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, or military experience is helpful.
• Reliable communication and transportation required.
• Must have or obtain a security guard license within a reasonable period.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced customer service environments.
• Proficient time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services.
• Lead and supervise security personnel to meet contract requirements.
• Schedule, monitor overtime, and review daily logs and incident reports.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and assist customers, employees and guests.
• Maintain visible presence in the facility and enforce policies.
• Coordinate emergency response and initial investigations as needed.
• Ensure communication and documentation are accurate and timely.
