Qualifications

• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Supervisory and advanced education/certifications preferred.
• Contract security, law enforcement or military experience helpful.
• Reliable communication and transportation.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, customer service environments.
• Good time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead security staff assigned to the facility/building.
• Schedule, manage overtime, review logs and incidents.
• Provide recommendations for personnel actions.
• Maintain professionalism and assist customers, employees and guests.
• Maintain visible presence in the facility.
• Monitor environment for suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Handle phone inquiries in a professional manner.
• Enforce facility policies and procedures.
• Coordinate emergency response and action planning.
• Initiate investigations and write accurate reports.
• Prepare reports on accidents and incidents as required.
