Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead a frontline security team at client sites in the United States. You will ensure professional, customer-focused service and life safety, managing staff, incidents, and daily operations to meet contract expectations.

The role emphasizes leadership, clear communication, scheduling, training, and reporting, with an emphasis on safety and client satisfaction across assignments.

Qualifications

• State or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Verifiable and successful supervisory and advanced education and/or certifications preferred.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience is helpful.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Write routine correspondence, to include log entries, incident and reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service environment.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead security personnel and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Schedule shifts, manage overtime, review logs and incidents.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Prepare incident reports and conduct preliminary investigations.
• Maintain professional demeanor and assist customers and guests.
• Monitor the facility and enforce policies.
• Answer phones professionally.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and action plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation of incidents and reports.
