Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

The role involves wiring devices, testing systems to manufacturer specifications, basic programming, and explaining operation to customers while handling daily paperwork. A valid driver's license is required, and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug testing.
• Must obtain state licenses/certifications as required for security work.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm, CCTV, access control devices.
• Test systems and verify proper function per manufacturer specs.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain system operation to customers and complete daily paperwork.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and monitoring station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
