Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. in Missouri seeks Service Technicians to diagnose and repair card access, CCTV, burglar alarm, and related building systems at customer sites, delivering top-tier service and trusted advisory solutions.

You will follow troubleshooting procedures, read blueprints, install and program systems, maintain inventory, and provide quotes while working flexible hours and being ready for on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with card access and CCTV.
• Knowledge of test equipment and commissioning devices.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50–70 lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Willing to travel/overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform service/repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems at customer sites.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals to repair equipment.
• Read diagrams, submittals and specifications for installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with customers.
• Provide quotes and upsell where appropriate.
• Available for on-call emergency service.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to safety guidelines.
