Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup and certify security systems on diverse projects. You will train customers and work with a team to ensure top-tier service and satisfaction.

The role requires strong technical skills in security and fire alarm systems, plus the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Local travel and occasional overnight trips may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing security and life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, startup, test, and certify security systems on projects of varying complexity.
• Train customers and provide technical support to maximize satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve issues and improve methods.
• Read manuals and schematics to determine installation procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Travel locally to sites; occasionally overnight travel may be required.
