Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom company, seeks a detail-oriented Project Technician to install, program, and certify security systems on diverse projects. You will run wiring, terminate devices, and train customers while ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role requires multi-system installation experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel to projects. High school diploma and 3 years of related work are expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out, certify, and train customers on assigned projects.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate devices.
• Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; perform repairs as needed.
• Replace malfunctioning hardware and ensure compliance with Stone Security Standards.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine installation steps; assist on complex specs.
• Travel required and perform related duties as needed.
