Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom company, is currently seeking a highly organized Project Technician to join our Salt Lake City team. The role involves installing, programming, startup/check-out, certification, and customer training on assigned projects, with travel required.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience installing network camera systems, security systems, and access control, along with strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch)
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch)
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team
• Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred
• On-the-job training may be provided

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Travel is required.
