Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom company, seeks a Project Technician to install and service security systems across client projects. You will wire, install hardware, and train customers, with travel to sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years installing camera systems, security systems, and access control, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills. You may lead field installation efforts and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience installing camera systems, security systems, and access control systems.
• Travel is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up/check-out, certify, and train customers on assigned projects.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate devices.
• Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; adjust and repair as needed.
• Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensure installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Familiar with blueprints, schematics, manuals and specs to determine installation procedures (may need help on complex specs).
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Travel is required.
