Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom company, seeks a Project Technician to join our field team on security integration projects. You will install, program, test, and train customers on assigned systems, including cameras, access control, and related hardware.

Travel is required as part of a dynamic team that grows with the company. A strong background in security systems installation and hands-on technical aptitude is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP, Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel, S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
• Aptitude for networking, computers and IT is preferred.
• On-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Travel is required.
