Job summary

Stone Security, a BearCom Company, is seeking a Project Technician to join our security integration team. You will install, program, test, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, wiring devices, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

You will travel to job sites to install cameras and access control hardware, inspect systems, and lead installation activities. High school diploma required; experience leading a security installation team is valued.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
• Aptitude for networking, computers and IT is preferred.
• 3 years of related work experience required.
• On-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
• Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
• Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Travel is required.
