Johnson Controls is a global leader in building technologies and security systems. This role supports the installation of complex integrated security systems for clients, including access control, CCTV, and related components.

Responsibilities include wiring, cabling, troubleshooting, and providing end-user training. Strong TCP/IP networking and experience with IP-enabled security devices are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; 3+ years with camera systems and access control.
• 2+ years with IP addressable security devices; strong TCP/IP networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Install integrated security systems, including access control, CCTV, and related components.
• Install cabling and equipment enclosures per NEC and guidelines.
• Use test equipment to troubleshoot; read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Readjust or replace inoperative equipment and perform system checks.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work; communicate clearly; work with others.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation for assignments.
• Operate hand and power tools; feed cables; terminate connections.
• Deliver end-user training and isolate network issues when applicable.
• Work independently to complete installation jobs and stay motivated.
