Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Security Systems Installer to perform installation, testing and commissioning of intrusion, access control, CCTV and related equipment.

You will read blueprints, configure hardware, and complete As-Built drawings, with emphasis on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. The role requires licensing within set timelines, driver’s license, and strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of MS Windows and network

Qualifications

• Must obtain Ohio fire license within 180 days of starting employment and maintain it for the duration of employment.
• Must obtain Kentucky Fire Alarm License within 1 year and maintain it for the duration of employment.
• Will take part in emergency on-call rotation after 6 months of employment.
• Have working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques, programming, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting on Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Network infrastructure
• Install and verify security equipment for large installations, including testing and commissioning
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications
• Complete As Built drawings upon project completion
• Prepare reports for customers and conduct system acceptance tests with AHJs and others
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines
• Consult with clients to assess risk and determine security requirements
