Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is a leading provider of security and building solutions. The Commercial Service Technician will troubleshoot, repair and service commercial security systems at customer sites, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access equipment.

You will coordinate inspections with authorities and provide quotes for recommended solutions to improve facility efficiency. This role supports independent work from a remote location with supplied tools and a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience installing and servicing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills and valid driver's license.
• Electrical/Electronic background and High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems at customer sites.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, Card Access, and related equipment.
• Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, or other authorities.
• Provide quotes and upsell recommendations to improve facility efficiency.
• Work independently from a remote location with tools provided.
