Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Security Service Technician to support commercial customers with field service across intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and card access systems.

You will troubleshoot, advise customers and the care center on inspection and system status, and deliver practical solutions at the time of service. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience installing and inspecting or repairing Tyco Integrated Security or a comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access, CCTV, and IP cameras.
• HIRSCH Certificate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical or electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.
• Computer literacy and the ability to use test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, card access systems, and other security equipment.
• Locate and resolve damaged equipment or wiring, then readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment and test it for proper operation.
• Prepare trouble order forms to document temporary repairs and service actions.
• Communicate system and inspection status clearly to customers and the customer care center.
• Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies when required.
• Provide recommendations, solutions, and quotes to support customer needs and facility efficiency, including appropriate upselling opportunities.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and act as a trusted advisor during each service visit.
