Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Tech Specialist 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will help design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, IT systems, and command and control for federal, local, and commercial customers. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience in electronic security systems.
• Associates with 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
• Provide support to the system administration and engineering team
• Troubleshoot networking and system issues
• Read blueprints, schematics and statements of work (SOW)
• Interface with customers and vendors to ensure design efficiency
• On-site system support post deployment
• Train system users and other support personnel
• Ensure test lab equipment is maintained
