Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leading provider of cyber-physical security and integrated systems, seeks a Systems Integration Engineer 2 to support electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will analyze requirements, design solutions, and guide multi-disciplinary teams through testing, installation, and commissioning. Join a fast-paced environment focusing on intrusion detection, access control, biometric systems, and IT integration with travel up to 10% for project support

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required with 2+ years of progressive experience.
Experience developing and managing requirements at all levels of the system hierarchy.
Experience integrating systems and subsystems in multidisciplinary projects.
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to present to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Create, review, and approve system engineering documentation ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Elicit and manage project requirements in a shared repository.
Analyze user requirements and system concepts to develop detailed specifications.
Support changes to requirements with stakeholder buy-in and traceability.
Guide design engineers on technical solutions and interface control.
Lead pre-installation testing and checkout, including test planning and execution.
Oversee commissioning to verify requirements and stakeholder satisfaction.
Support lifecycle integrity of the system baseline through development to operations.
