Job summary

Talently is seeking a Security, Surveillance & Access Control Technician to install, test, and maintain security, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites across Indiana. The role involves travel, on-site service, and potential overnight stays, with a focus on customer satisfaction and reliable system performance.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of hands-on installation experience, strong technical aptitude for drawings and wiring, and a proven ability to explain operations to clients.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems.
• Working knowledge of CCTV, video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies.
• Hands-on ability to pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cable in compliance with applicable codes.
• Experience installing door hardware, including electric strikes, magnetic locks, and push or panic devices.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
