Job summary

Zeus Fire and Security in Omaha, NE seeks a Security Sales Consultant to drive new business across commercial, small‑business, and residential markets. You will conduct on‑site security assessments, tailor comprehensive solutions (hardware, software, monitoring, and AI/video), prepare proposals, and close install projects while coordinating handoffs to Engineering/PM and Operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of sales experience; 3+ years preferred.
2–3+ years in electronic security industry preferred (alarm systems, access control, IP video).
High school diploma or GED required; certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Generate new business through leads, referrals, and outreach.
Qualify leads, schedule on-site walkthroughs and security assessments.
Create accurate cost estimates, proposals, and sales presentations.
Demonstrate products and explain features, pricing, and options; escalate technical inquiries as needed.
Manage CRM records: leads, opportunities, and sales activity.
Prepare and submit sales contracts and related documents.
Coordinate with installation/service teams to schedule deployments.
Monitor project budgets and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Provide post-sale support to promote retention and upsell opportunities.
Maintain product knowledge, especially video tech and AI applications.
Represent the company at industry events and networking groups.
