Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a high-impact pre-sales engineer for the Enterprise Browser and SASE security platform. In this remote role, you will partner with Sales Specialists to establish customer relationships and help prospects prevent advanced cyber attacks by articulating the value of our integrated security solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with systems engineers and product teams, deliver training, and act as a trusted advisor, with travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (L2 Switching architectures, VLANs/trunking, IP routing incl. OSPF/BGP, route redistribution, L4 load-balancing).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Travel up to 50% may be required to support in-person customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with Sales Specialists and the local partners.
• Identify and document specific problems with prospective and current customers which can be solved through the deployment of integrated solutions.
• Architect and propose validated solutions addressing the identified problems in each environment.
• Deliver presentations/demonstrations, PoC, RFP/RFI responses to prospective and current clients.
• Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption.
• Maintain technical leadership across data center, SDN, public cloud, security and networking.
• Differentiate against competitors and advocate for customer needs with product teams.
• Act as customer advocate and coordinate with customers until issues are resolved.
