Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to promote and sell security services and technology within an assigned territory, focusing on South Boston, VA. You will build relationships, close new business, and drive customer retention while representing the Johnson Controls Security brand.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must have previous Security Systems Sales experience.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Johnson Controls Security policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
• Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls Security products and services to new local commercial customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that continue to present new sales opportunities.
• Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet the customers' expectations.
• Renew existing customer agreements.
• Identify prospects using lead-generating techniques and maintain productive relationships with existing customers.
• Establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics and apply time and territory management techniques.
• Follow up with prospects.
• Maintain knowledge of products/services and customers' needs through training and research.
• Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence.
• Process work orders and paperwork per procedures.
• Conduct post-installation follow-up to ensure commitments and satisfaction.
