Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to promote and sell our security services and technology within a defined territory in the United States. You will build trusted customer relationships and drive growth through new business, account expansion, and renewals.

In this role you will use a consultative approach, manage the territory, and clearly communicate the value of our solutions to senior executives.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to present to senior-level executives within customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful commercial sales experience in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Develop new commercial business and expand existing accounts.
• Renew existing customer agreements and support resale opportunities.
• Identify prospects and build pipeline through lead generation.
• Manage territory plans and follow-up strategies.
