Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations on a designated shift for a client site. The role involves supervising security personnel, coordinating with account and field managers, and ensuring post orders and incident response protocols are followed.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to write clear reports, and experience with security systems and CCTV.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Ability to prepare reports and logs neatly.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving experience and clean record.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security personnel on assigned shift; coordinate tasks and monitor performance.
• Conduct daily briefings with the team and report outcomes to management.
• Respond to incidents and notify authorities and clients as needed.
• Monitor security systems and CCTV; perform routine patrols and verifications.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• File required reports and maintain daily security records.
• Interview, hire, and train security staff; oversee onboarding for new hires.
