Job summary

Allied Universal Security Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for a Manufacturer site in North Kingstown, RI. This full-time role includes Monday–Friday hours with weekends as needed. Starting pay is $26.50 per hour, with paid orientation.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to supervise staff, coach personnel, and coordinate between site leadership and officers. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving experience and clean record per policy.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate quality services on a specific shift.
• Serve as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting and logs are completed.
